Questions and answers.

AEO, short for answer engine optimization, is the work of making AI tools like ChatGPT, Perplexity and Google’s AI more likely to name your practice when someone asks for a therapist like you. It covers the pages AI reads, the details it matches on and the directories it trusts.

SEO aims for a high place in Google’s list of links. AEO aims for a place inside the answer itself, where an AI tool names a few practices and most people stop reading. The work overlaps: clear pages, correct details and trusted listings help both.

No. Nobody controls what AI tools say, and anyone who promises a place in their answers is guessing. We promise the work and the measurement: you see the real answers before and after, with their dates.

We work within it. We never ask your clients for testimonials or reviews, which ACA C.3.b, APA 5.05 and NASW 4.07 rule out. We never write “best” or other superiority claims. We never publish anything that confirms someone is your client, as HIPAA requires. Every change gets a compliance review, and nothing goes live until you approve it.

No. We only look at what AI tools say in public about your practice. We never ask for, see or store client records or any other protected health information, and we never confirm in public that anyone is your client. Our privacy policy explains what the check form collects.

The free check takes one business day. After setup we ask the same questions twice a month. AI tools change their answers on their own schedule, so we compare against your baseline over about three months, and we only call something a change when it holds in two runs in a row.

No. We work on the site you have, including site builders and the website your practice software provides, and Monthly includes up to two hours of edits. Moving to a new site is optional and quoted separately.
